Blower Motor

I've done a search and read most/all the A/C related threads.

About a month ago I got in my base '07 w/navi only to find that the a/c wouldn't come on (no fan). I did the majority of the trouble shooting that I could do while in the parking lot at work (~105 in San Antonio) and everything looked good. Diagnostics said, "trouble in blower circuit". About halfway home w/sun roof tilted up and a/c off, I started to feel a little air through the vent. I punched auto and boom, had a/c again.

Figured I'd keep an eye on it and see if/when it happened again. This morning the a/c did it again, so I figured I better look more closely.

Since it's been intermittent I figured it wasn't any of the electronics. Checked car again, no fan in any mode. Key off, pulled glove box and filter, spun motor, turned on key, a/c works fine again. Sounds like I've got a bad spot on the comm in the motor.

Anybody else agree or disagree?

I was looking through the parts diagrams but wasn't sure a/b the motor p/n. This it? 79310-SEP-A02

Thanks

I would replace the transistor before the motor. Mine was intermittent for a couple of months before it failed completely.
