Blinking 3rd gear upshifts by itself in SS Mode

Blinking 3rd gear upshifts by itself in SS Mode
Hey all, I am new to posting in the forums but have been using it over the years to solve many issues with my 03 CLS. Now i currently have an amazing TLS 07 which i adore but cannot seem to solve a problem i am having, I hope one of you car gurus can help me fix it.
Problem: When in SS mode i occasionally cannot hold 3rd gear. Transmission will upshift by itself to 4th at around 4,500 rpm. The 3rd Gear indicator also blinks and than upshifts around 4,500 rpm only.-give or take a couple hundred rpm. It does this solely by itself. WEIRD!!
-I have changed the 3rd and 4th gear pressure sensors
-I have 70,000 miles on the TL
-I recently purchased it used
-Transmission shifts great otherwise
