Battery sticker?

Battery sticker?

Noob question I have a Les Schwab battery with a sticker date of 11/10? is that when the battery was manufactured or is that when its good till?

Usually the battery sticker just tells you the date of manufacture.

My battery says 02/13, which is when I bought my battery just this last February. There were others on the shelf that were 12/12 or 01/13, but I bought one that was brand spanking new on purpose, which is what told me it was the date of manufacture.

11/10 = Nov 2010

Do be aware that the actual manufactured date is usually stamped (melted) into the battery case. The sticker is added usually when the battery ships. The difference can be as much as 6-months, depending upon the specific manufacturer, and the amount of stock kept onhand before shipping.

Some batteries will also have an actual label stating the SHIP date.
