I'm not sure it's the acuator, on my 08 TL. I recently had the driver window regulator replaced and since it's been replaced. I can lock my car with the remote but i can't unlock it (with the remote) but once driver side door is unlock with key i can unlock on the other doors with the remote. Would that be an acuator issue? i can lock/unlock the car from inside no problem just can't unlock the driver side with the remote. it's very annoying.
I did have the all the wires looked at and everything apparently is connected properly after the regulator was replaced

 

I would still bet it's the actuator, since it wasn't replaced. Same exact thing happened to me, and it was a pretty easy DIY once I got past the three bolts on the door that can easily be stripped because of how tight they are in there.

I think it's the actuator because it only affects that one door, which is daisy-chained to the other locks in the vehicle to open all the other locks as well when it's engaged or disengaged. Once that thing goes, you have to resort to using the key manually, but pulling the door lock knob manually opens and closes the door manually.

I can't imagine that the tension cable in the door lock is bad, because if that was the case, it would've snapped and you wouldn't be able to open the door at all.

 

Door lock actuator. Replaced mine this month at 100,000k. Bcuz all my doors except the drivers would lock n unlock with the remote. Only way to lock n unlock the drivers door was with the key. Haven't had a problem since

 

so i got the actuator replaced and still the same issues, which means it's not the actuator. I have to give in and take the car to dealer to get the issue fixed. The funny thing is i actually asked the mechanic at the dealer to when i went to pick up the part and he said it's definitly the actuator but obvisouly not.
i have the same issue after replacing the actuator. All doors lock with the remote but i can't unlock driver's door with remote... once i unlock the door with the key i can unlock all other doors from the remote.

 

Im having the same issue. I ordered a new actuator , waitin for it in the mail finally. It really got annoyin having to open my driver foor with my key instead of remote
