Yes...search the threads in here and there are plenty of items that explain how to trace down battery draw as well as the most common culprits. The radio itself is not the most common culprit, but a failing amp has been reported before as causing issues. Most common are the HFL module and the A/C relay.

Like Jackass wrote, HFL is very common thing to fail and draw power. It is powered from radio and doesn't really have separate fuse.

If taking fuses for radio stops the draw, it's either HFL, amp, or radio. Disconnect HFL first. Check out this forum or youtube on how to do that.

Thank you both, I removed the HFL based on suggestions here a few months ago and thought my problem was solved... The radio has been acting weird and has all the symptoms of the amp issue, the mechanic took radio out and said it is definitely drawing there (maybe related to why it won't eject my fancy tape to auxiliary music steaming gadget).

i told him if radio is already totally out to upgrade radio in car. He said if it is amp related he won't charge labor to address that since we are this far along.

Yes, I just had the same thing happen. Literally two days ago. Tape was stuck and wouldn’t eject. Also heard it after turning off car, apparently trying to eject. Came out the next day to a dead battery that was brand new 2 months prior. Weird thing is when I charged the battery, and reinstalled back into the car, I get in to move the car, and the tape was ejected! Weird. So I guess I’ll be buying a Bluetooth streaming device versus the cassette with wire to plug phone into, for music.
