Hey folks, the battery in the car keeps getting drained super fast, as in 2 nights and the battery will be dead. Any known reason I should check? swapped batteries twice already and still the same thing happens.

 

Yup, HFL is bad and draining the battery. Google HFL battery drain. Try to use the HFL ( hands free link ) or Bluetooth and see if it works. The HFL battery drain is a very common issue. It can be disconnected and left where it is if you don't use it. It will kill your ability to use nav voice commands, with it disconnected.

I had a similar issue twice when I left town for a week each time. Did pulling the HFL fuse work?

 

^ You have to disconnect the HFL module for this to work, not the fuse.

 

I thought there was a TSB for this (battery draining excessively) a long time ago?
