Battery? Alternator? Electrical issue?

So my car is dead somehow. I just got back from a five day trip and went to get in my car and it wouldn't unlock using the fob. Unlocked the car through the door and no lights, tried to start it and nothing at all, no lights, no radio, no clicking nothing. The battery is brand new the one I replaced actually died about a month ago.

I got one of those little jumper boxes to jump it and or charge the battery and whenever I turn it on my alarm goes off and I can't shut it off. I've tried the lock/unlock button, the panic button putting the key in the ignition and turning to accessory and tried to start. The lights kick on when I power on the jump box and it'll click if I try to start it but it won't do anything.

Is the battery just that dead that I'll have to let the alarm go off for a while until it charges or is there something more to this?

Thanks

sounds like a parasitic draw that ate your old battery and ate your new battery.

the parasitic draw most likely comes from a bad HFL unit.

you can unclip (or unscrew)the over head console to disconnect the HFL unit, so it wont draw on the battery any more.

the battery you just bought MOST likely comes with a warranty.
Bring it back and get a new one fo FREE.99!

pop it in and start the car!
