Bank 2 Sensor 1 wiring connection(by the radiator)

Hello all. I have a 2005 Acura TL and it’s spitting out codes for the Bank 2 Sensor 1. I just replaced the o2 sensor with new Denso ones thinking it’s the sensor. While taking out the old o2 sensor, I noticed that the wiring connection point was covered in oil. Which I presume has been there before I changed the Valve Cover gaskets. Well I cleaned it up with a microfiber shop rag the best I could and connected the new sensor but it was still showing the codes for no activity. Is there a way to cut off the wiring connection(female-end) and replace it with a pigtail? I couldn’t find pigtails for the 5 pin connectors(upstream) anywhere on Google, correct me if I’m wrong. What would be the best alternative?
could I cut off the connector, do a full clean inside and out then splice the wires back to the connector?

^ If there are no visible breaks in the wiring, hose the female end connector down with this stuff before you go cutting.

Didn’t think about spraying it down with some sort of electric cleaner. Thanks for looking out✊
