stop/go (avg mph <20 mph) = low MPGs ie 14-15 mpg.
hwy (>55mph)= 30+ mpg potential
i get 18 mpg with avg speed of 25 mph (historically). currently getting 22-23 mpg with avg speed of 30 mph. your MPGs won't change drastically as the car ages unless something is truly wrong.

I just picked my TL up 3 weeks ago; '05 TL 6spd with 114k miles. I've been easy on it in city driving (on the highway but during rush hour) and I average 23-24mpg shifting below 2k-3k rpm. I'm curious to take a full on highway trip to see if I can hit 30mpg. It looks like the dealer replaced the engine and cabin filters and the spark plugs look semi-new so I don't see anything I can do to increase mileage but from the looks of it my numbers seem about normal.
The 6MT TL's are highway queens. Mid 30's are easy in warm weather on long drives.
'City' driving varies WILDLY from area to area and person to person. Expect between 5-40 MPG in 'city' driving. 14 isnt unreasonable at all. Have some understanding of basic physics and it's exceedingly obvious why.

Check your E-Brake to make sure it is adjusted properly. When I changed my rotors I saw some wear on the pads. We made sure they were not binding on the drum and my mileage instantly went up 2-4mpg. 06 AT 120K+. I average ~23-24mpg combined.
I get about 22-23 average MPG
If I do freeway/highway more often I get around 27-29mpg
127XXX miles 04 AT TL (92 chevron gas)
Also I have been giving more gas lately then usual since I got my exhaust mods. LOL hearing the sound makes me waste more gas.

Just thought I'd throw mine up here:
2005 TL, 101K miles
Avg 18-22mpg @ avg speed of 18-20mph
City driving in Honolulu, I think traffic here is the worst in the nation - besides New York / Washington DC

After 3 weeks of driving only to work and back mine is around 11mpg and 9mph. Traffic doesn't suck but they have the lights timed perfectly so you stop for every single light even at 4am. I can only assume it's on purpose because there's no way this can happen by chance. I believe there's a city tax on gasoline so that would make sense.
I get around 16-18 MPG doing and average of 15 mph.
I do the best I can trying to hypermile when I drive. Living in NYC makes it ridiculously tough though.
Some of you guys have TERRIBLE MPG. And here I thought something was wrong with my car LOL

Most of my driving is combined, I have been getting anywhere from 18-21mpg in my TL-S 5AT, with some spirited driving in there.
Drove 100mi on the highway the other day at 70-75mph on cruise, got 30mpg.
