Question Backup Sensor Constant Noise

To those of you who have backup sensors ... do you have a constant beep emitting when you put the car in Reverse?

I'm the 3rd owner of my 2005 TL. When I first bought it I would put the car into Reverse, backup until I was close to something, and hear the beeps until they turned solid.

Then on occassion, when I'd put it into Reverse, I'd hear a solid beep the whole time I was backing up and when I got close the beeps you expect to heard would make noise also.

Now, whenever I put the car into Reverse, I ALWAYS hear a constant solid beep noise. I still get the beeps that let you know you're close and the solid beep that lets you know you're within a foot or whatever but the whole time the car is in Reverse I hear a solid tone. It isn't as loud as the actual beeps when you get close but it's rather annoying.

Am I supposed to have this Reverse tone or not? As indicated before I never had it, then it became intermittent, and now it's always there. I guess it's useful for letting you know you're still in Reverse but otherwise it's annoying.

Hmm, solid constant beep such as when u back up and get within a foot and the frequency tone you hear is solid, constant, non stop, etc.

The constant tone which is emitted prior to ever even getting close to another vehicle in this case though is not as loud as the alerts when you get close to another vehicle since those tones clearly overpower this one and I can still hear when I'm getting close to another vehicle.

Funny thing is this has been happening for over a year or more now and it just stopped last week!!! Hoping it stays this way but just curious if anybody else had this issue and what the solution was.
