back speaker

back speaker

Hey how do i take out my back speaker , i feel like there is a bolt in there and everytime i hit a bump it moves around very annoying sound , i tryed to get to it from the truck but it seems to hard .

You've got to remove the back seats, side trim and back cover from the inside.

Not too bad after you've done it once. The only part I hate is pulling the plug with the airbag label that holds the panels in place.

make sure you have a socket extension for the bolts inside the headrest. Those are really fun!
also, a tip on installing the same bolts back into the headrest: tape the bolts to the socket wrench!

Eh?

You partially tread the bolts and then slide the seat onto it. Then just reach through the headrest area to tighten them up. It's real obvious when you see the shape of the hanger.
