whats up everyone, Ive been hearing a clocking noise from my axle so i guess their done. Does anyone know where i can buy the axles from? and are there any performance axles that i can get?

 

I would buy an aftermarket axle from Autozone or Advanced Auto.. just a good reputable parts store that will give you a lifetime replacement.

as for performance.. I don't really know what you are trying to gain? weight reduction?.. you should get something that will be reliable.

I bought GSP (Guangsheng Auto Parts) driveshafts from Advanced Auto / Partsamerica.com. They are $69.99 each and the core is not required. If you order $75 online your shipping is free so get brake fluid or wipers if you're just getting one. The driveshaft is lifetime replacement and I have been very happy with mine.. feels better than new.

btw.. if you feel uncomfortable buying from a Chinese Mfg.. recognize that most OE is Hecho En Chine.

I just went through this. Just get the remanufactured axle from Kragen/Advanced Auto as they come with a lifetime warranty. They are pretty hard to come by also, they had to order mine from a New York location as it was the closest to San Diego lol. Cost was $150 with a $75 core exchange.

The new aftermarket ones they carry also have a lifetime warranty and are $100
