i live in new york and it has been bitterly cold. when I cut m,y car on this morning the icons on my dash wouldnt cut off.the abs, and vsa, lights...this has never hapened before is it because it was too cold.

 

I dont think that is the reason. because they are LED - my radio on the other with temp sometimes does that. Looks like its moving in slow-mo when i change the station or turn the heat up but thats only for the first few minutes. If it happens again I would look into it but i don't think its an issue. again IMO.

now that i think about it - maybe it just took the car a little longer to do it's regular checks - I might have interpreted you question wrong.
