Hey everyone. My first post here.

i have an 06 Acura TL base with the automatic transmission. Here recently when driving it shifts fine from first to second then I will shift into 3rd but the rpm’s just rev up real high and it feels like it’s in neutral. Sometimes it will catch at high rpm’s and have some trouble going into 4th unless I let off the gas and it will finally shift. Now from 4th to 5th I have no issues either and it down shifts fine just having issues with 3rd. I have changed all the pressure switches and changed the trans fluid with no change. Also hearing a whining noise when the rpm’s rev up.

It sounds like the clutch packs for 3rd gear are toast if you have replaced all the sensors.
