ATTN: all TPMS users that had a problem

So I have aftermarket wheels on my TL with the OEM TPMS which worked perfectly fine until I found a nail in one of my tires. I had that tire repaired, and now I keep getting an error message when I start up the car. I thought after couple of days, it will start to correct itself, but nothing so far. Anyone ever encounter this problem and what is the best solution to fix this problem? Thanks all.

They could have broken the sensor during the repair.

Well the sensor still reads the proper psi, because when I start up the car and quickly select the TMPS on the MID, it gives me the proper readings before the error message pops up.

You should bring this up to the tire shop.
