Is anyone using DW-1 ATF?

I've put DW-1 in my Honda Pilot and I've been thinking about putting it in my 05 Acura TL.

Since I did a drain and fill on the Honda Pilot it's been shifting better and there is no more morning sluggishness it used to have with Z1. Overall, I'm very pleased with DW-1 in the Pilot.

Just wanted to see how everyone was doing with DW-1 in their Acura's.

I've put in 3 qts into 2003 acura rsx auto last month. Cold shifting is definitely better, but in normal operation, nothing is really different.

I'll try DW-1 on my TL for next drain and fill.

I just put 3.5 quarts into my 2005 TL a couple of days ago. It is running fine. The performance is about the same as with Z1. Perhaps slightly smoother shifting at high rpm, but it is probably just the new fluid, not W1 specific.

I have been debating between trying this fluid (DW-1), Redline Racing ATF, or Redline D4 on my next service. Most likely I will give the DW-1 a try meaning I will get the Honda dealership to do a flush(3x3) and then 15,000 miles later do a 1 drain and fill and checking to see if there is any black materials on the drain bolt or any metals

I have done a full 3x3 with DW-1 on my 06 TL. I can't comment on cold weather shifting since I live in Florida, however, my transmission seems to like the new stuff. I switched over to DW-1 at 35k and it was the first time I changed my fluid. Occasionally I would get a harsh shift at WOT on Z1 and a harsh downshift into 3rd. Since I have made the move to DW-1 all my shifts have been snappy. You can feel them, but they feel quick and precise. I should also mention that I changed my 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches at the same time. Only time will tell if DW-1 will hold up. I won't know for another 12k when I can examine my drain plug. I can tell you that my transmission feels outstanding right now!
