Fog light

i just purchased a 08 tl type s. I bought it out of town, on my way home i was behind an 18 wheeler that kicked up a rock and hit my passenger foglight. It cracked the foglight, so i was wondering what is the easist way to replace it, do i have to take the bumper off. thanxs

Lenses are perma sealed. You'll have to replace the whole foglight assembly to fix this. Unless you're pretty handy and can cut the glass lense out and replace with lexan plaxi glass. You can get cheap replacements through Unique Style Racing, $150 for both I believe these are OE aftermarket, otherwise for OEM through the dealers usually run about $200/each.

Easiest way would be to take the bumper off. The way with less work but not much wok space would be to undo the two pug clips in the wheel lining, pull the lining back and go from there

bumper

2 clips and a screw that screws in facing the sky. may want to take the radiator cover shroud lose to ease the install. some other clips and screws underneath too. a 10mm socket should do the trick along with a fancy $2 clip popper like a mini flathead. good luck!
