Anyone replace their wiper linkage?
Anyone replace their wiper linkage?
My wipers have excessive travel, hitting the A pillar on the driver's side and both clunk when they hit the black plastic under the windshield. It isn't consistent (sometimes travel is normal) but it seems to be worse at freeway speeds. It isn't the nut that holds the wiper arms on, both are tight. But there is a good inch of play if you try to move the wiper arms.
Just wondering if anyone has replaced their linkage and can give me an estimate on difficulty and time. Used to turn wrenches on my domestics all the time, less so on the imports I've owned but I'm pretty good mechanically.

same thing is happening to mines....i work at honda, talked to one of my buddy which is a certified technicians, he said he changed out 2006 accord wiper linkages cause it had the same problem as mines, and it was fairly easy, just have to pop the linkages out with a good size flat head screw driver, n pop in new ones, and advise to change out both, due to the nylon bushings being worn out!
heres what i found, n is pretty much exact how my buddy mentioned
