Anyone know why this little guy started randomly popping up?
On my way to get breakfast this morning I see something I've never seen this guy.... ... the red airbag man... If i turn the ignition off it will go away.. but it randomly comes back on.. I could be stupid but I honestly dont know why it would be on .. any ideas ?

Oh, and last time i was at the dealer they told me it was a driver side sensor so. who knows.

Did you have something on the seat when you were driving?
I remember my 6th Gen Accord used to have an SR light that would randomly appear when I would set something on the seat that wasn't too heavy.
I believe the TL has a sensor in the seat and if the weight is less than X pounds, it disables the passenger airbag.

I can only give you my experience. That icon popped up at around 100k miles. My warranty ran out at 50k. I have no extended warranty. Dealer did not charge me to diagnose it. They said they would look at it and let me know. Before I knew it, it was fixed. I do have a good relationship with my dealer but the S.A. told me since it was a safety issue it was fixed free of charge. It might of also helped that I researched this issue on AcuraZine before I took it in and told him what I thought the problem was and it seemed like a safety issue.
