Alternator replacement help for '07 TL-S!!

OEM remanufactored cost around 350$

Aftermarket (Carquest brand) cost around $160.

Anyone have experience with either or even other brands?

Any luck with aftermarket brands vs OEM?

Thanks in advance.

Remanufactured units are hit and miss, take a look at RockAuto and purchase a new unit, either TYC or Remy with lifetime warranties, no core charge.

What I did on my 07 Accord V6 was buying an OEM one off a crashed car that ran for 80k miles, then I bought a brand new brush from Honda for $10 and swapped it in. $62 total.

Have you tried these alternator? if so, how long and how has it been doing? The TYC or REMY.

I got it reman from Rockauto at 203k miles. Currently at 210k miles so I've only had it a short time. Car is running just fine. OEM is Denso I believe. I have an 05 TL.
