All cabin button lights stopped at same time after checking bulb
Long story short, my gear selector bulb went out. So I did the simple task of unscreweing the knob, getting the 3 plastic panels off and checking the bulb. The bulb was indeed burnt, so I took it off to be able to compare with a replacement at a local store. When I put back the assembly back, ALL my other button lights were out. All lights around navi, radio, steering, doors, mirror controls, overhead garage door opener and other, even the hazard light (red triangle). The only thing that works if the AUTO window button on driver door and all the little light that show something is on, such as, the little orange indicator that is on when you put defrost, or the little light on the heated mirror switch.
Obviously, I checked the related fuses, so 6, 7 and 32 under dash, and 4 i thing under hood. I also check all other non related fuses just to make sure nothing else has failed. Negative, all fuses are intact. I tried unplugging battery for 1h, tried to open the gear selector assemble once more to see if anything was obvious...nothing.
I don't understand that something so routine could have messed up the entire cabin lighting.
Also, I drove a few hours ago and realized that usually, when you turn headlights on, your navi goes into night mode, it doesnt anymore.
What could it be?

Do your parking lights work?
The dash button illumination is all run by parking light wire.
If none of your parking lights work, like the license plate lighting and sidemarkers, then it's the parking light fuse under the hood.

It might look obvious on this picture but I actually had to do some post processing in order to achieve this result because just by looking at it it was almost impossible to say
