I was wondering if anyone had an issue (and hopefully a resolution) where the lights (side markers and tail lights) no longer flash when activating or deactiving the stock alarm? In addition, clicking the alarm (activation) button twice no longer initiates the "Chirp" noise. Any help is much appreciated!

 

You can turn the chirp sound off in the MID, but the lights will still work. If you are sure they are not working and that the MID is set to sound the chirp, then it's dealer time.

 

I am having this same exact issue. Just started when I got home from work tonight..

 

Correction, mine is only doing it when I lock the car. I get no lights, but the doors lock.

I get no BEEP either. I dont get it


sounds like a dealer visit to me....

 

just had mine fixed for the same problem. mine was the hood latch. they had to put in a new one.

 

bhelsdon, thank you. That was exactly it. I just open and close my hood and its good to go. When I get off tonight Im going to see if I can find that switch. Maybe I can just replace it.
