Yea could be.. or it can be an defected seatbelt sensor which i have, which is under lifetime warranty... so... have them fix it... it comes on after you put your seatbelt on right?

i have the problem with the airbag light sometimes.. i start the car, put my seatblet on, the light then comes on only after the belt is latched. i have noticed in the side pillar where your seatbelt retracts into, that when you put the belt buckle into the lock part way, you can hear a click in the pillar behind your left ear. i have noticed that if i put the buckle halfway in the receiver a bunch of times without actually buckling it all the way, it will click click click click as many times as you put the magnetic buckle in the receiver. after you click it a few times, my light doesnt come on anymore for a good amount of time. I know its a band-aid, but i dont wanna pay to have it fixed if they try to tell me its not under the seatbelt warranty.
