Aftermarket Shiftknob no likey stock boot

How are you guys getting the stock boot to stay up and mated with after market knobs? It has been like this for over a year now and I figure I should do something about it.. Haha

I thought about maybe super glue, but that would be ghetto and messy.. I am sure you guys have some solution to this..

See photo for what I am talking about.. Thanks!

use a rubber washer..works great. just force the washer on under the boot and it will hold up the boot against the knob.. problem solved for $.50 and you dont have to remove the boot

You can get electrical tape & wrap a good amount around the part

where the boot should sit at,then pull the boot up til its snug.

Thats what i did to mine & it works, would take a pic but im at work.
