Exclamation Acura TL type S coil pack &spark plug help

My 2008 acura tl type S which i had for since 60k miles and now at 75k. The other day i noticed the car making a pounding noise coming from the exhaust and soon to have a check engine light P0305. I ran the code and it said it was a misfire in cylinder #5 so when i tried to take out the coil pack it is stuck and unable to move. I then broke off the top of the coil and now there is 3/4 of the coil still stuck in there. How would i get the rest of the coil out? Do you think i would have to replace the head?

Thanks

Sorry to say, you're not the first. Plenty of work/$$$ ahead.

Spark plug loosened and the heat destroyed the coil pack.
They are just a few threads, so plenty of reading available.

Silly question; butt have you tried pliers?

the coil pack tube itself pulls right out of the spark plug tube.
if there is enough of a lip, maybe you could pull it straight out with pliers.

Amazon.com: Ullman Devices CHP8-L Individual Hook and Pick Set, 9-3/4", 8-Piece: Automotive Amazon.com: Ullman Devices CHP8-L Individual Hook and Pick Set, 9-3/4", 8-Piece: Automotive

Heck, he might get lucky and just be able to screw the coil shaft and spark plug out in one piece.....
