Acura TL 07 problem

so I tested my alternator earlier this week due to my car dying every morning it was bad so I just replaced it. Battery tested fine afterwards with new alternator, but I went to turn on my car and the lights on the dash seem to glitch and seems like the car didn't wanna start even though it did . Any ideas ? HFL maybe? If not what else could it be

Just unplug it? And if this wasn't to work what else could it possibly be? I've heard cases off the HFL running even though it's disconnected.

Seriously? Not sure where you heard that but if the HFL is unplugged, there is no way on this earth it was consuming power from the car's battery. Whatever idiot told you that should be ignored,

There was someone on another forum that kept having that problem and I guess there's even a lawsuit cause of it

And I just had to jump start my car after just yesterday getting a new alternator fully charged battery and removing my HFL so now what can it possibly be?

Ummm, no, physically impossible for the HFL to draw power when it is unplugged. Simple fact of life.

Yes, there was a class-action lawsuit with the HFL issue. I don't know what the outcome was, or if there even was an outcome. Either way, pulling the fuse or unplugging the HFL will fix it. It obviously can't continue to draw power from the battery if it's unplugged. That would be like your vacuum running after you unplug it from the electrical socket. That's some new technology there! Well, actually, they have "wireless charging" for phones I believe, but not yet continuous high-wattage wireless power. Maybe we'll get there one day It would be like wi-fi but for power!

Is the battery healthy? If it's died several times, it could be sulfated which reduces output considerably. It's bad to let lead-acid batteries die. It can shorten their life very quickly.

Here's a thought: it could be something else drawing power IN ADDITION to the HFL..

time to break out the multimeter and start a parasitic draw test :

Your option is to get the issue properly diagnosed and stop throwing money and parts at an undiagnosed problem.

Possibly a bad relay ? Any one heard of common ones with the TL? Acura is charging 150$ just for a diagnostic so I'm trying to avoid it if possible

Here's the thing, how much have you already spent in repairs which ended up not fixing the issue? If you are unable to use a multimeter to figure out the source of the problem, then spending $150 on a diagnosis is cheap compared to buying and installing a bunch more parts.
