Acceleration wavvyness

Hello peeps,
Mime is a 2004 TL 6MT.....
SO I researched and found nothing that resembles my visitation....I am getting acceleration waviness....Like I am driving on the highway and am on the accelerator and holding steady.....but my car behaves as if I am gently pushing and releasing the gas pedal that is the kind of motion feeling I get and the car behaves the same....But if I set up the cruise control nothing...only when my foot if holding steady the accelerator it does that....

Any inshights on this behaviour and any diagnoistics is much appreciated.

Sandan

To me...the difference in behavior from manual vs cruise leads me to say APP sensor as well.

Are started noticing a similar issue about 2 weeks ago. I have a 6SMT and noticed this behavior at slow speeds/slow RPM's while maintains speed or accelerating gently. Yesterday while on the freeway my CEL came one and I got a vehicle stability assist 83 message. The car seemed very sluggish. I pulled over, shut off the car and restarted it. All warning lights get me now accept CHL. Car is acting "normal" per the last 2 weeks. Suggestions?

Correct.

I'll do some more searching but is the APP sensor or EGR valve hard to access?
