Acceleration click noise Video

I recently bought my car at the Toyota Place from Garden Grove California, and my used car warranty is almost up in 2 weeks. I recently took my car to the service department about the click noise, and they said it was the loose brake pads that's causing this. The mechanics said that was normal cause the Corolla's has this problem too. I told them it was the axle nut that needs to be replaced or tighten, but he told me that it's not. Should I go back there to first this problem? Would it get worst later on in the future and my warranty is almost up and they dont cover it when it's expires.

Here are a few posts about similar thing. My 05 6MT clicked for about a year and then stopped. Dealer tried the same "it's your brakes" line too.

These are short posts so give them a read

has the lock mechanism on the axle nut been touched?
no reason for them to be removed -why do you think its loose?
put a torque wrench on it yet?

brake pad wear is possible--are there shims on your pad backs, thats to reduce noise--OE pads or aftermarket?

looks to me that the axle nut has never been touched.that lock part is pretty nicely pushed in there...i just figured i change it cause people have said this fixed there clicking..ill try to tighten it first and see if that helps.....the pads that i have are the original oem ones...i know there is barely any meat left....i need some like yesterday...lol

AXLE NUT, AXLE NUT. Just have them replaced. they are 15$ a side.
I had this "exact" problem, went to dealer many times. I've posted this in another thread. My Axle nuts were "replaced" and I've never had this problem again.

I just replaced my passenger side axle nut per this post. The noise is no longer there! I didn't replace my driver side axle nut yet as the noise is gone. Cheap fix for anyone that wants to try this.

I've been a career mechanic my whole life and the noise you're hearing is your brake pads sliding from front to back. Swaping for oem pads will not resolve the issue unless you also order new brake hardware (just the metal tabs that secure the pads in the bracket). This symptom will not cause any further damage. Its just a noise...
