For 6MT owners, engine makes more noise once broken in??

My car is 1 month old with about 2000 miles on it now. During the first 2 weeks or so, the engine was so quiet it made it hard to shift w/o looking at the RPMs.

Currently, it makes noticeable noise especially when the radio is off. The noise it makes is a little bit louder than when it was first new with the radio off. Could this be attributed to the engine getting older and the engine oil getting older also?

Should I be worried about this? Just doesnt seem right to me.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what kinda noise you're talkin about.

I'm thinking the engine has past its break in period. For example, when i test drove an 06 TL ASPEC it was much "smoother" than my 04. Plus I was more gentle on the test drive.
