5 day old TL hits a flooded out bridge..... Help
Like the title says I hit a flooded out bridge tonight. My cars anti brakes came on and a bit of smoke came out from the hood. I made it over the bridge and the smoke stopped. The smoke I am guessing was the exhaust hitting the water. I didn't notice any change in the exhaust sound so I am guessing it didnt crack the exhaust going from hot to cold water. And the block seems to be ok. The cars rpms never dropped so it didn't go in the intake or mess with the plugs. But when I got home I got out with it running and it sounds like a belt got wet and sounds bad. It's not a loud squeal. It's just a sound you would expect from a old 94 civic with the AC on and a bad belt. Not something you hear from a tl with 18k on it. Do you think the belt will be better in the morning if it dries off?
