3G TL plasti dip side marker stripe

My phone won't let me post more than one picture at a time. So bear with me. Since the side markers led straight into the stripe going down the side, I thought it might be a simple thing to plasti dip. Here are the results. I think this would look great on a white TL.
Tips: peel tape while plasti dip is wet. I sprayed as I took the tape off leaving no window for drying to the tape. It dries fast, so be quick and cautious.

Trying to get good lighting so you can see it in the pictures was tough.

Most "amazing" thing in this case is how easily it can be removed.

You can't even really see it on dgp and the subtlety is part of the attraction to me. To each their own. Plus it's not permanent, so no harm no foul.

oh we never said it was permanent, as we know what plastidip is! and i even complimented you on trying!

but I feel that you are going to peel it off sooner than later, as most of us who play with plastidip do. because it doesnt look good. Hats off to you, that if you think a reversed skunk stripe down the side of a car looks good.

Davknights, I would keep in mind a lot of 3G TL owners on this site I believe are 30+ years old. I dunno how old you are, but if you're in your teens or early 20s you may not want to take the style opinion of a bunch of "old men"

I did a lip on my rear bumper with plasti dip and I think it turn out good. See my post in this thread:

Looks meh, the shiny paint honestly looks great in that crease when you are driving and other folks are looking at the car. It really catches your eyes with the way the metal is shaped vs the flat finish of the plastidip that makes it seem like a flat stripe.

I promise you, every one of us who has played with the dip has dipped something dumb. Because it is only $8.
I dipped my grille but took it off a week later because it didn't match the rest of the car.
I also dipped the rear license plate cover, but still didn't look good. Like, the texture didn't match with the glossy paint
