3g tl cmp sensor a intermittent
3g tl cmp sensor a intermittent
So the other day I was driving home from work going about 40 at around 2k rpms just cruising when the car just shuts off, I push the clutch in and coast down a side street where the car cranks but does not even sound like it wants to start, the next day I get a scanner and hook it up and there's a code that reads cmp sensor a intermittent, this would be the camshaft position sensor which is located behind the timing belt from forums I've been seeing, but my question is, is there only the one sensor I thought Generally there are more then one especially for a v6, is there more that I can't find or what, I bought a haynes manual that is coming tomorrow and I'll be doing the timing pump and water pump along with it, anyone got any tips or suggestions to help make it go faster? Thanks in advance

IMHO, it's best to go OEM.
With that said, #14 on the link below looks like to be the only one.

Alright thank you, yeah the #14 one was the only one I could find too but like I said I wasn't positive with it being a v6 so yeah I'll probably just buy that one and do timing belt and water lump with it😁
