AT-205 for Rear Main Seal

Didn't see any recent posts for AT-205 being used for a rear main seal (slow) leak...for about 2.5 years. Anyone have any long term observations? Did you benefit from using more at each oil change? Did it even work for your rear main seal? Any other lessons learned? Thanks.

usually it's not the rear main seal itself, but the hondabond on the plate that it attaches to.

Two week update: After an oil change at the end of December, I put in the prescribed amount of AT-205. I checked my oil level yesterday and it's still towards the full line. By now, with the highway driving I do, I would have been closer to the lower line if not under. I'll give a readout at the 1 month point.

Possibly. I've read that unless you have a leak, you don't use it proactively. But so far so good.

I will give 2 more updates. This one is at the 1 month point (a month and a few days). Haven't had to add oil yet. Oil level is just below mid-point on the dipstick markers. I'll give my next update when oil level drops below the lower limit. So far so good. Hopefully these are datapoints that will be useful to someone considering using AT205.

Okay so looks like close to the 1.5 month of using AT205, I have to add more oil b/c it's below the line. That's better than every 2 weeks. Will put more at the next oil change.

have you noticed any changes in performance? Just recently went to mechanic for oil leak diagnosis and they said they got everything but after a couple days on the driveway, there’s definitely still some leaks. Honestly considering using AT.
