So in a previous thread I mentioned the dealer advised me to replace a leaking rear main seal. I’m not interested to do that because i see no drips on my garage and I don’t believe the leak is bad enough to warrant a multi thousand dollar job. I have put in some Lucas Oil Stop for now and will advise you all if it works.

It doesn't have to be a multi-thousand dollar job. Indie mechanics can get it done for a fraction of the price.
Lucas is just a stop gap or a bandaid solution. At some point the rear main seal will fail

High mileage oil or Lucas stop is a band aid to delay that bill. I'd try an indie shop to get it fixed when the time comes.
