Exclamation 2007 TL Type-S Auto Trans Slipping?

Been a while since i've posted on here, I have a 2007 TL-S 5at. I acquired the car with 102k miles and it now has 121k. At around 110k I did a 3x3 fluid flush and changed out all 3 pressure switches. The car shifts smooth as butter at low rpms (3200-4,700rpm ish) but whenever it's at lower rpm when driving calm it shifts very violently and sometimes holds a gear for an unusually longer duration than normal (on completely flat road ) before jolting into gear. Normally I have been able to have it shift smooth by doing the shifting in manual mode but recently it has started to kick in manual too. I can handle all this, while extremely annoying to me. Also I have noticed a slight whistle to it that happens in 1st, and the beginning of 2nd sounds like a "whooooooooooo" very soft rpm related sound.

Today I was on my way home from campus and there is a steep 1/4mile hill on the way home that I usually downshift in manual to engine brake. Went from 3rd to 2nd to 1st. Came to a stop, turned left, shifted out of 1st at about 2,000rpm into 2nd gear and once it was in I punched it and it accelerated good until at about 3500rpm the tachometer flew up and the engine revved up to about 6000 before I could let off. The gear display screen said 2nd so I know the car didn't downshift to 1st gear, at least I don't think it did as I felt no slight pause like it normally does before downshifting. But I know at times the car will override your gear to downshift when it thinks it's necessary, which might have happened. So at the next stop sign I tried it again, this time nothing happened.Pulled into my garage, shut it off, and started looking for similar issues and couldn't find anything. The mechanics at Acura whom I am friends with have never seen a Type-S AT go bad before.

So what do you all think? I have a failing transmission and should start saving now or the car did it on it's own?

check your fluid levels and also test your shift solenoids.
