Red face 2007 TL transmission

Was wondering if anyone lives near the Bel Air Md. area thats knows anything about TL Transmissions. have 50,900M, which is still under warranty, but am a little concerned with how the car shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. Seems to wind out a bit and go into 2nd a little rough. Does anyone know if this normal or what? Took to Frankle Acura in Timonium and they said other then needing to turn the rotors & brakes the car is fine, but know from experience can't always trust what the dealership says. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you ever replaced the ATF?

Not yet. Dealership said it didn't need it, but know with my other honda's that it is due. Why?

The stealer is right in that Acura doesn't "recommend" it, but you needed it @ 10k. I'd drain/fill it 3x, as it tells you to do on this link:

You might also want to look into replacing your pressure switches as well: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=729149

Thanks for the info, will take your advice and get it done. Just want to ensure the tranny is in top shape before warranty is up. Love Honda products, but have always been a little wary due to the trans in my 99 Accord Coupe having some problems. How does your TL feel when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. Smooth or does it seem to wind out a bit?

Your welcome. I drive a stick-shift, so it's different then your situation. Although we have issues of our own, mine shifts like butter!
