2007 NBP Type-S, rear deck lid coming off

I was playing around today looking over my car with a microscope, and I noticed that the rear deck lid is a little loose. I can actually lift up the left side of it and see through it where the sticky pad is not working so well anymore.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a good fix for it?

is it just held on by that 3M tape? no screws?

if so, remove decklid spoiler.
then remove all of that old sticky tape.
then apply new 3m sticky tape to decklid.
stick on.

I didn't know the lip is held on by 3M only, guess you learn something new everyday.

^if its the real deal from acura, its most likely held on by screws as well as 3m tape.

I was asking the OP if it was just tape or screws.
he has to look under the trunk mats to see if he can see the screw heads.

Trunk mats? Do you mean the liner of the trunk lid?

Yes, If your car came from the dealer with the spoiler, it should be held on with clips and bolts also. Remove the liner from your trunk lid and carefully snug down the bolts.
