2007 Acura TL died
Good morning guys I have a 07 Acura TL that I love had it bout a year now yesterday while at work I went to unlock with remote and it wouldn’t unlock it was like if battery died so I unlocked it with key Thur driverside got in it no lights at all tried to start it nothing no cranking at all so I figure i pop hood open while when I did that all the lights came back on alarm was honking and I was able to turn off with my remote and it started up fine after that only after I open unlatched hood any ideas what if what happened this has never happend before

I had a problem where my TL was turning off randomly and having a lot of strange electrical issues. I checked my connection at the battery and my posts were slightly loose, not much at all but enough I could turn them by hand easy. I tightened them up tight and all is fine now. I think with the heat/cold changes it caused a small gap.

I had corrosion on my battery tetminal and it would go good for weeks then randomly die. I would just wiggle the cable in a certain direction until it tightened. I cleaned them and never had the problem again. New terminals is what we need.

Scotty Kilmer recommends we “Start our engines!”.
He also taught that after cleaning the terminals and posts, put Dielectric Grease on them. Should not come back and lessen any corrosion buildup due to the anaerobical affect the dielectric grease gives.

I had a similar issue back a couple of years ago. The car would power up but then completely die when attempting to engage the starter motor. I would have to jiggle the cable in order to get it to power up again. It turned out to be a break in the positive battery cable.
OP, check your battery cables for loose connections, corrosion, or simple wear. The PO of my car had replaced the factory one with a shitty aftermarket cable that wasn't of the right length or durability.
