2006 TL stock overheating!!

Unhappy 2006 TL stock overheating!!

Hey guys first post! my tl overheated last week while driving on the highway. popped the hood and smoke was coming from the timing belt cover so I replaced water pump, timing belt, all the pulleys and thermostat. started driving again today and it freaking started smelling like burning coolant again! and my gf pointed out that the heater isn't working?! still a noob

How's your radiator, I expect it's leaking

Nope no leaks from the radiator or hoses. I can't any leaks for that matter that's what's frustrating me lol

So I noticed temp was a little higher than normal when I drove to autozone, while driving back the temp went back down to normal. stop sign started rising again very slowly.

Has your system been burped to purge any potential air in there.?

Haha no I was so ready to get her back on the road I didn't take time to do things right! just finished it up and everything's back to normal! thanks!
