2006 Acura TL help

So I had the check engine light come on when I was accelerating onto the highway and it blinked a few times and went away. This only happened one other time when I had out the pedal to the floor to see what my TL could do this being my first Acura and all. I cleared the codes they were p0301 and p0305 I think there was one other one but can't recall. I cleared them after the first time and they never came back on until now. I had the plugs checked and everything was fine. My TL had 170k miles. Just wondering if anyone had any advice I always put premium 91 octane gas. Thanks for any help just wanna make this nice car last and take care of it.

Welcome Swoodz2730!

The guys in 3rd gen might be able to assist you better. Check the coils next and then the o2 sensors. And maybe cross check the spark plugs to make sure you installed the right ones.

Good Luck!

^even tho, he's not in the right section, your advice applies to him as well, Nick!!!

he has a misfire when he accelerates.
which could be coil packs, spark plugs, bad gas, bent valves and whole host of other things.

you were on the right track, Nick!
I would advise the OP to swap coil packs to trouble shoot the problem.

I doubt there is any problem at all. OP has only floored the car twice. It has 170k. Missfire bound to happen. Floor it more often

I had spark plugs and cool packs checked and they looked over my engine when u brought it in when the codes came up first time and they said it was all good. I am the second owner of this vehicle and I have maintenance records all the way up to 165k miles the person before me took great care of the car.

I went on a road trip today about 200 miles and no acceleration issues or anything...just puzzled by this happening again.

Sorry for not posting in right section I'm new to the website and the guy from Acura dealership told me be good place to post any questions.

I appreciate any advice Thanks guys.
