2005 Acura TL Revving UP When Stopped

Hi,

I have a 2005 Acura TL with around 152,000 miles on it. Suddenly my car started to rev up by itself when it is stop in parking, neutral or drive. I don't know what could be the problem but the check engine light it's turning on randomly and sometimes I get check engine, VSA and warning lights on. Any idea what could be wrong?

Here is a video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/whmic49jqm...026TL.mp4?dl=0

Sometimes is worst than what is shown in the video.

First thing to do would be to get the stored diagnostic codes read to see why your warning lights are on. Check your coolant level.

My 05 does that on occasion, i cleaned egr valve, it helped a lot with that and rough idle. Still does it on occasion, maybe egr again, maybe o2 sensor. Either way ill change them both when i do my timing belt soon

I have a 2006 TL that's doing the exact same thing and the coolant keeps going low after a few hours, but it runs fine and never overheats. What ended up fixing this issue for you?
