2004 TL won't blow hot air-help me!!!

Exclamation 2004 TL won't blow hot air-help me!!!

this has been a bad week for me, this past wekend my heather stop working and its getting cold!! already did the heater core lines cleaning whit my garden hose but dint fix it what can i do next please help,

i dont think so because when i set it in low tempeture it works really good.

Likely the latent temperature of the engine you're feeling ... not the heat from hot water.

Thermostats are generally cheap to replace ... I'd give one a go seeing it's a small price to pay for potential warmth.

EDIT - Looks like our heater valves are controlled by a cable ... maybe check that too; could be the associated vacuum/solenoid.

I did the core flush and radiator flush also. Is full on coolant but is still
Not blowing hot air.

My cable slid off a few years back which caused it to be stuck in cold mode. Look back towards the firewall, right about dead center, and look to find that valve and the cable. Hopefully it just slid off like mine and you can just slide it back on. You might need to rig it to stay on, like i did, but it was an easy and free fix.

How that cable looks like? Is it a actual cable or a hose? Thanks

I also bet $ is the heater valve. I just replaced mine it was leaking coolant. Look all the way on the back of the engine under the stabilizer bar.
