Suspecting a bad coil...
what is the best way to test for bad ignition coil... My car idles very rough lately ... and does so up to the speed of 5-10 mph as well ...
the motor mounts look ok.

Also, some automotive stores have testing equipment. Although, I'm not sure how to go about it manually. Keep in mind the front motor mount is the one that usually goes bad. as well as the passenger side( cracking, broken insulator etc) might be hard to tell just from "looking"
If you have an android device I recommend the Torque Pro app ($5) with a bluetooth OBD2 connector ($25 on Amazon).
I just got mine a week ago and it's unbelievable what you can see. It shows trouble codes, misfires in each cyliner, IAT, O2 sensor data)
I thought I may have a bad coil as well, but the app doesn't show any misfires with a week and a half of driving.

I kind of doubt it's a bad coil. If it was a bad coil, you should be getting a MIL and have DTC's set in memory. I'd run it by autozone and have them see if any codes happen to be set just in case the MIL was momentary and you missed it.
