2004 TL passenger side dry shaft removal

Here's my experience with removal of right side dry shaft. Lift car on jack stands and remove the plastic cover installed under the car to allow access to back side of dry shaft at the half shaft bearing connection (the bearing bracket). From under the car and access from the front of the car using a socket extension, hammer the socket extension against the back side of the dry shaft. You will need to hit it several times to get it released over the set ring inside.

A smile will cover your face and you can begin the installation process.
