2004 TL Headlight bulb
2004 TL Headlight bulb
My passenger side bulb went out. I looked around for instructions on replacing the bulb and all I could find was instructions to replace the entire assembly, which involves things like removing the bumper.
Please tell me I can just replace the bulb, and if someone could point me to the instructions for that, I would really appreciate it.

I swapped the bulbs from side to side, and the "bad" bulb worked on the other side, and the "good" bulb did not work. So, that means it is either the igniter or the ballast.........correct ?.
Next question....is there an easy way to test these components to see which is the failing one.
Thanks again.
Thanks.

What acuraoem calls the "igniter" the service manual calls "the socket." There is also the "control unit." Don't know which contains the ballast. They're both pretty pricey.
