'08 TL Type-S horn is gimping out

Hi all.

My 2008 TL Type-S horn is now sounding retarded. It is much lower sounding than it was and sometimes sounds like it is just going to die. Has anybody had this problem or does anybody know of a fix?

Thanks in advance!!

a replacement horn is about $30 each. there are 2, one is for high tone one is for low tone. takes 5 min to change out.

Yes, one of my horns died, I think it's the high. Particularly annoying in Boston where we re-wire the horn directly to the brake pedal.

how does the horn go out?

you might want to check to see if there is anything in it, like sand.
also, if the horn is sounding weak, it might be time to replace the battery.

a power wire might have gotten loose connecting to the horn.
