08' TL-S Not starting
Hey guys, I was hoping I could get some advice.
So with all of this Quarantine/lockdown situation I have been driving the car alot less. In the past 2 weeks my BF has driven it about 3-4 times.
Everything was fine no problems whatsoever.
This morning I went to start the car, and nothing. The lights come on and everything but nothing more than that. It doesn't crank, it doesn't even try to start. I turn the key it pauses like its going to start and nothing it just beeps.
I had gotten the battery replaced about 2 months ago and I still wanted the mechanic to do a few things on it: spark plugs, engine mounts and water pump but he had to move his garage and I haven't seen him since. He is the only one who I've trusted with my cars.
So my question is: Could this be a spark plug/starter issue? Or could it be a bad battery? I haven't tried boosting it yet. We thought it migh have been a light or something that stayed on but it doesen't seem like anything was left on. Unless there could be something draining the battery?
Is there something I can do now? Or let it sit and try again later? I will try to add a video if i can figure it out.

Ghost TL- in regards to battery draw is it fixable-reversible? Oh for the Hands free I can go check. It always worked but I have not paired up my phone with it though. I will go check if it works... For battery draw does this mean i will have to change the battery all together?

Jump started and went for a 30 min drive! Ah she feels great lol..I don't think i realized just how much i missed driving lol especially since adding that ECU device in there ahhhhhh all that power lol. Will take her for a run in the mornings just to prevent that battery issue. Can it really be that easy though? lol thanks to this group here troubleshooting an issue is a walk in the park~! Will update in a few days but I'm pretty sure I'm good to go!!
Like the other members hinted to it is very likely a draw caused by the Hands-Free Link unit going bad. There is a few cases with successful fixes by basically reheating the solder on the board before replacing it but typically this is the only well-documented battery drain to exist on the 3G TL.
A common symptom of it being bad is the MID displaying HFL Booting or a similar message. No harm besides losing hands-free and nav voice commands will come from unplugging it until it can be fixed.
If you don't my asking, how many miles are on it and does it reside in a hot climate?

Hi there, she's got 298k kilometers so roughly 185k miles. Still a baby lol
I am in Canada so we have all seasons here.I unplugged the HFL and boosted the car and she's been running fine ever since.
If you are going to miss the HFL features you can try the heat reflow repair or buy a new one which is pricey but if its something you use often it may be worth it to have it again. As long as the manufacture date of it is 2017+ it was the revised design.
