08 Base Driver side mirror issue

The driver's side view mirror, on my 08 Base model operates horizontally, but not vertically. I replaced the actuator with a new OEM part, and swapped the control switch with a known good switch. I adjusted the vertical position manually, to make sure the mirror was positioned properly. The right side view mirror operates as it should. After a thorough review of side view mirror issue posts, I haven't found anyone who has experienced this problem before. Any suggestions?

new actuator, good switch but only partial function... suggests a loose, broken wire or poor connection somewhere. remove the actuator from the housing and apply voltage directly to the pins. (doesn't need to be fancy... a 9V battery and two paper clips would work) if both work in both directions work back towards the switch until it fails to move. now you know where to make your wire repair.

The wires that run from behind the actuator pass through a small hole behind the mirror mount. It's very possible that the wires have frayed/loosened from a connector.

Sure enough, the end (pink) wire was slightly pulled from the connector. Now EVERYTHING on my car works exactly the way it's supposed to. Tx. again for the suggestions.
