well, lots of ppl, including me are using redline aft type f (racing) for the tranny

it's amazing how smooth it is after moving from OEM...

BTW, my TL-S had a brand new tranny just merely after 30K miles...

According to Acura Corporate it was the first ever seeing to happen.

So, I had new tranny with OEM fluid until 60K, and switched to redline, they are just amazing...

ok thanks guys. just wanted to check because i did read on here alot of people using it but yet these guys told me NOT to use it!!!! I bought my car with 65000 and it now has 75000. i doubt its ever been done and i want to do my 3rd and 4th gear sensors as well. i do notice that when in 3rd gear it hesitates to shift. doesnt really slip alot more of a lag or a hesitation so i want to do a 3x3 with sensor changeout asap!!! dealer is giving me hell about which sensors are which though so i need to take my VIN to them. Sharksbreath i have read many many of your stuff. good work man love what your doing on here for people.

hey sharksbreath you wouldn't happen to have part numbers for the sensors do you? dont really trust frankel acura in cockeysville to give me the right ones. rather just order them of internet for cheaper. but if they aren't handy dont worry to much ill just go to dealer. thanks bro, GO RAVENS Ray rice-5 year lock

There are plenty of threads with opinion on Redline vs OEM. You need to read user "inaccurate"'s threads on the topic.

Then decide what to do .... after you form your own opinion.

My tranny started having shifting problems after switching to redline, so I went back to oem and the problem went away.
