I have an 06 base acura tl, the driver side parking light doesn't go on when the light switch is on either of the two settings, but the turn signal still works, and it appears they use the same bulb unless I'm wrong. Any tips?

the bulb needs to be replaced, there are 2 filaments that activate depending on the voltage given. Lower voltage is for the parking lights vs higher for blinking or vice versa depending on the car.

You can buy replacement bulbs from amazon for around $7 for a pair. I removed the fender liner and easily replaced both bulbs, also got the tail-lamp turn signal bulbs too.

If one bulb is failing, might as well replace the other 3! Took me aobut 2 hours for all 4.

 

My driver's side tail light in my 06 TL isn't working but the brake lights are. The turn signal works - it is a single filament bulb. The tail lights and the brake lights appear to be the same LED lights. Why would they work for the brake lights, but not for the tail lights? How do I fix. I know nothing about LED's.

The LR side marker light is also out. Looks like LED also. The stealership wants $95 for it! Maybe I can plug in the other side marker from the passenger side to see if it works. Could it be related to the brake light issue?

On a side note, I recently had the AC and radio control lights go out and replaced the fuse. Could all of these be related?
